If you had the covert ops as an alt for your main "carebear" account, they can be quite useful. Scouts gates, stations, etc when you're trying to move some good cargo through low sec.. I love mine

Maybe you just got unlucky. I've done that mission plenty of times with a CNR with less DPS and less tank. It takes a little while, but as long as I kill the trigger last and wait out the jam, its doable. Though I totally agree that the way NPC...

For example, say I have Caldari Navy at 9.5, would my standings start going down after a while if I stop doing missions for them? Reasons being could be that I'm doing missions for another corp or maybe just taking a break from Eve.

Here's a setup I use. Its not the best, but it might help you decide. Some people prefer Flux coils or PDS's in the lows, but the CPR give me a nice balance between cap and defence on mine. And my skill's aren't the greatest. [Lows] 2 x Capacitor...
